The Spring Market Is Here and It’s Already Crazy

I wanted to tell you about the weekend I just had. My team had appointments all day Saturday. I had three different buyers and I wrote three offers. One of my agents wrote two offers and the other wrote three.

The crazy thing? None of us got our offers under contract. Every house that we made an offer on was in a multiple offer situation.

Since we’ve had such a warm winter, the spring real estate market is going crazy. I’m not sure if this market will continue throughout 2018; I wish I had a crystal ball so that I could tell you guys. All I know is that after last Saturday, I had to get the word out to all of you about our crazy market.

If you are on the fence about selling your home, now is the time.

Now is the time to sell your home for a premium.

A lot of buyers are getting frustrated because there are so few homes for sale. They have to compete in multiple offer situations, which actually benefits sellers. A lot of sellers are getting a premium for their home. One guy offered $25,000 and had an escalation clause offering $1,000 over any offer coming in and still didn’t get the home under contract.

If you are thinking about selling your home, now is the time to get a premium for it.

If you have any other questions about our current market, just give me a call or send me an email. I would be happy to help you!

Why Northern Utah Is Growing and How It Affects You

Our Northern Utah market is expanding quickly, and there are a couple reasons why.

As you know, we’re experiencing exponential growth here in the valley. You’ve heard of Silicon Slopes, Building Salt Lake, and other major projects that are going online. Every time I think of the mountain plan, I can’t believe what’s going to be there in the next five to 10 years.

It’s life-changing for all of us, which is why we’re experiencing this growth. People are arriving in droves because our economy continues to expand. When the population of an area grown and its economy expands, some developers get visions of grandeur. I even came across an article recently about a group of developers who want to build an island city in the middle of Salt Lake.

We know where you should buy so your home can experience the highest appreciation.

The point is, our team keeps our thumb on all these awesome long-term projects coming online. We know what’s happening and what to expect, which means we know where you should buy so you can be next to these projects that will increase your home’s value.

If you have any questions about our economy and where things are going to expand, explore our website http://utahcribs.com—we have all the latest updates on all the latest events happening.

If you’re thinking of buying or selling a home soon, don’t hesitate to reach out to us. We’d love to help you.

The Best App for Prospective Homebuyers

We hear two questions from homebuyers and sellers more often than any others: “What is the best way to search for available homes?” and “What is the best way to find out the value of my home?”

Today, we have the perfect tool to share with you that will answer both of these questions. We’ve been looking for years for something that will provide a great home search experience and an accurate home valuation. I think we’ve found it in Homescout. It’s a mobile app that not only tells you how much your home is worth based on recent comparable sales in your area, but it also shows you all the available homes for sale on the local MLS. Use VIP code UTAHCRIBS to sign up.

Homescout won’t sell your information to real estate agents.

When you use an app or website like Zillow, Trulia, or Realtor.com, they are going to turn right back around and sell your information to other agents who will then solicit you. Homescout won’t do that. It’s simply a great resource for you to use if you’re thinking about getting into the real estate market here in Utah.

If you have any questions about Homescout or anything else relating to real estate, give me a call or send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you.
